WHO WE ARE
Natural Freeride came about through a love of travel, years of experience in the industry and a serious bug for boarding. We participate in all of the sports offered here, so know what you are looking for. However we specialise in travel, so we can give you the best advice on getting to your destination, where to stay, how to get around, what to do and where to do it.
Natural Freeride is independently owned; meaning we can keep control of our products, our ethics and offer high levels of personal service. In addition, as a member of the Freedom Travel Group (a division of The Co-operative Travel) we are also able to provide comprehensive financial protection, an extensive list of suppliers and the peace of mind for you in knowing you are dealing with an established and well-respected organisation.
OUR PRODUCT
Natural Freeride strives to offer the best products and excellent standards. This applies not only to your travel and accommodation, but also to tuition. That is why we strongly advocate the use of International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) schools and why we are the IKO’s official UK travel company.
Being a small company we try to focus our time on ensuring our products are right for you, therefore the myriad of hotels, flights, etc we offer can't all be loaded onto the website. So if there is something in particular you are looking for and you cannot see it, please just ask.
THE ENVIRONMENT
At Natural Freeride we believe in working and playing in harmony with our environment. That's why we promote activities that harness the power of nature. (Even though you may be flying abroad, we feel that travel is not only necessary, but can have the positive effect of exposure to new cultures and habitats.) It's also why we are solely based online. Why we try to keep as much of our transactions as paperless as possible, and for the bits we cannot, why we ensure our paper, envelopes and business cards are printed on recycled materials.
Natural Freeride does not offer carbon offsetting options. We believe that carbon trading schemes in no way compensate for pollution, just transfer it elsewhere. If you feel that strongly, don't go. However, we fully encourage you to spend the time and money making environmental improvements at home. Far more energy is wasted in a typical household than by its occupants' travels. |
